Breakfast on the Bridge

Breakfast on the Bridge was a unique event presented by the NSW government, that saw Sydney's most famous landmark transformed into the ultimate picnic venue. Six thousand lucky event-goers enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime breakfast picnic on over 10,000 square metres of live green grass, laid from pylon to pylon on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

As the centrepiece event of Crave Sydney, a month-long festival showcasing the city's entertainment, food and art, Breakfast on the Bridge was designed to promote Sydney to Australia, capture global attention and drive tourism, investment and jobs for NSW.

The eyes of the nation and the world were on the inaugural event following the execution of an outstanding local and international media relations campaign.  Comprehensive international (BBC, NY Post, Bangkok Post and CBS and more) and national (all major TV networks Ch 9, 10, 7, ABC, Today Show, Weekend Sunrise, major metropolitan newspapers, radio and online) coverage was achieved, with millions of dollars value in tourism and promotion of Sydney and NSW attributed to the project.
